Anna is a media artist and educator, whose key interests include physical computing and wearable technology, media archaeology and glitch art. She regularly produces and delivers workshops on wearable technology, creative electronics and basic coding, both for adults and kids. Anna is also lecturing at the Department for Art Education, LMU München, and has collaborated with a range of international institutions, communities and universities (V& A Museum London, transmediale Berlin, Ars Electronica Linz, The New Institute Rotterdam, etc).
Workshop: Thread the Sunshine In!
In this workshop you will create your own piece of electronic textile (e-textile) with a soft circuit driven by solar energy! You will learn the basics of wearable technology, stitch with conductive thread, and tweak batteries and other “hard” electronic components to make them suitable for wearable projects. No previous knowledge required, beginners are welcome!
